Northern Vistas
I enjoy landscape photography. Unlike other subjects, landscapes don't get up and walk away while I’m faffing about with my camera settings. With hot, humid summers and cold winters, the region experiences the full play of seasonal change, and so provides ample opportunity to photograph in all weather conditions. You’ll also find a wide variety of environments in which to take photos, deep forrests, broad shorelines, sweeping fields. There’s something for just about everybody. Except mountains. We don’t really have mountains. Or tropical sunrises. Those are on the next page.
